Rare Vintage Celluloid O'Neill Kewpie Doll Trio
 

Description:
A very nice and adorable vintage Rose O'Neill Celluloid Kewpie trio.

All made of light celluloid with straight one-piece molded body and head and jointed arms with star hands and the characteristic tiny wings on back of neck. Black wide eyes glancing left, tiny dabbed eyebrows, watermelon smiling mouths and tiny pug noses. Molded and painted tufts of hair at the top, sides and back of head.

They are all wearing their original red crocheted dresses. Made in Japan, circa 1930's.

Dimensions:
Bigger: 6 inches (15 cm) height.
Smaller: 5 inches (12.5 cm) height.

Condition:
There is a small crack on left side of head of the bigger one, just over the mold mark. Arms need to be restrung. Otherwise, very fine to excellent overall condition.
