1930s Bridge Score Pad~J.W.Baker's Ice Cream~Lakewood O

From a local estate, this auction offers an antique/vintage Bridge score pad with advertising for a local establishment at the time.  It dates to the 1930's.  At the top of each page is a picture of a little girl with an ice cream cone and marked "J. W. Baker's Home Made Ice Cream - Lakewood's only Ice Cream Company - 12003-12009 Detroit Ave. - Lakewood 5563 - R.H. Alber, Owner, Lakewood, O."  (Lakewood is a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio.)    Below that it it is marked with "Auction Bridge Score" and information on scoring.  The top page is yellowed from age, but the pages underneath are bright and white.  It is probably a partially used pad with 21 pages remaining.  The bottom of each page is marked "Listen to all bids carefully - Especially the original bid - Visualise - Concentrate - Watch all discards carefully - Play Cards.  Then 'Eat' J. W. Baker's Ice Cream."  It measures approximately 9 3/4" long x 4" wide.  Top page shows wear but rest of pad is excellent.  A great addition to your collection!

I ship on Monday and Friday mornings.  Shipping costs will be the actual cost to your zip code plus a $1.00 handling fee (one charge for combined shipments).  Please wait for an invoice from me before paying.  Since I estimate shipping weights, the actual shipping cost may be less than the calculated rate.  I will never charge more than the calculated fee, even if I have under estimated the weight of the package.

International buyers please note:  I cannot mark the customs forms as "gifts" nor can I understate the value of the item purchased.  It is against the law, so please do not ask.  International buyers may be responsible for customs fees and experience long shipping times due to customs-related delays.
