Here is a LARGE and FABULOUS vintage ASHTRAY from CARTIER - similar to another one I offered lately .. made of thick, heavy Cut CRYSTAL with applied STERLING Silver rim and rests .. marked 'Cartier' but also has silver hallmarks from a German maker .. probably dates circa 1930s .. sleek Art Deco era design .. see 6 photos below also .. VERY GOOD vintage condition with only expected minor surface wear from use - no damage to silver - no chips to crystal - no cracks or restorations .. measures about 6 3/4" in diameter (17 cm) x 1 1/2" high (4 cm) .. stamp marked on side with the Cartier script logo (see last photo below) plus '925' for sterling silver, the Moon & Crown hallmark used on sterling from Germany plus a German silversmith's touch-mark I cannot identify (see photo) .. guaranteed Old, Original and Genuine .. classic ELEGANCE for Office, Club or Den .. offered with NO RESERVE!
