diamond ring with a center octagonal-shape 
natural diamond mounted in platinum, c. 1930

condition
there are normal signs of "wear" to the ring that
are commensurate with its approximate 70 years old
age - "wear" connotes that the stone is not "pristine"
and that there are very minor abrasions to the surface
that are unseen by the naked eye; there are no cracks,
chips or abrasions to detract from its appearance and
overall the ring is in excellent condition and a very
impressive example of the period  

a small repair is needed to the back of the shank
which will surely be done before shipping, but while
we're at it, we'd like to size the ring for you as well
