If you are looking for something to stand out on your mantle then you have found it.  A very decorative, vintage gilded metal electric clock in the form of a royal horse drawn carriage with figures.  The carriage even has a beautiful red stone at the top.  This clock is mounted on a wood base and was made sometime in the 1930’s.   It measures 21 long x 8 ½ high by 5 inches wide.  It is made by United Clock Corp., Brooklyn, NY and keeps perfect time.  The condition I would call fair.  It definitely needs a cleaning.  I have left as is.  The glass face is missing from the clock.  One of the front horses has a crack in its back leg that has been glued by someone.  Also one of the back horses has become lose in its place and has a crack in its back leg as well.  I have not attempted to glue them or fix them as someone may have much better knowledge of this and can make it look showroom new!  The wood itself has some very small specs of paint on it.  The wood piece would most likely want to be refinished unless you like the “old” look to it with some wear.  As stated the clock keeps perfect time, but this little beauty needs a little TLC to get it back to where it once was.  I can say, that it is really a showpiece regardless and draws attention.  It is very beautiful.  This is a nice heavy clock that is just waiting for its own special place to shine!!  A perfect piece for a collector or clock aficionado!  Item is sold as is.  Please ask questions.  I am not an expert on clocks and may have missed something.  I have described this item best I can, thanks for shopping The Little Nook.  Happy bidding!
