The instrument is labeled "Singing Hagar Guitar" It is EXACTLY the same as the "Bronson Singing Electric" featured prominently in the 2009 Vintage Guitar Price Guide. The instrument has a single blade pickup, a round frying pan style body, a single octoganal volume control, dot position markers, and a cool open metal headstock design with original tuners.
Serial Number: S 288 stamped into top edge of headstock dating it to 1935/36.
National Valco stamped serial numbers onto the end of the headstock for lap steels until 1941 when they used a small oblong aluminum plate affixed to the back of the headstock.
Scale length: 24 15/16" Width at nut: 1 15/16" Original Hardshell case included. NO AMP. Some finger picks, a few couple steel bars and a capo included.
