Exceptionally nice vintage LL Bean hunting jacket. It has an old black & gold label, "L.L. Bean Inc., Freeport, Me."--I'm guessing it's from the 1930s. Thick, heavy wool in a dark gray (or you might call it a mottled black--black with flecks of white), with criss-cross stripes in turquoise and burgundy. Lots of pockets--two upper slash pockets on the front, plus two large lower pockets with button flaps. Large game pocket across the back, with a vertical button flap on each side/end. There's a strap on each cuff, with two buttons so it can be adjusted. Button front, with four large buttons--two of the front buttons were missing so I replaced them, but I'll put the two original buttons in the pocket in case you're a stickler for those details. No size tag, but measurements are as follows: 24.75" sleeves (shoulder seam to end of sleeve), 19.75" across shoulders, 25" armpit to armpit, 33" neckline to hem in back. I found only one tiny BB-size hole near the edge of one pocket. Very nice condition, with no tears or stains. Looks clean, with no odors.
