THE ORIGINAL ELECTRIC CORD IS FRAYED AND I HAVE NOT PLUGGED IT IN TO DETERMINE IF IT WORKS!  THE FAN APPEARS TO BE IN ITS ORIGINAL CONDITION WITH ORIGINAL PAINT THAT DOES SHOW SOME SCRATCHED SPOTS DUE TO ITS AGE AND USE OVER THE PAST 78 YEARS!
