ITEM DESCRIPTION: Great Art Deco Style Collectible from a New York City 5th Avenue Store, KTC  Hosiery - Clarke W. Tobin, Inc., 389 Fifth Avenue. 1931 Gotham Gold Stripe Silk Stockings Store Display Cards and Stocking Sample Brochure. 22 pieces total.
Display Cards are average 6" x 1". Unpackaged weight = 1.5 lbs.


CONDITION: Cards are slightly soiled, some cards have dinged corners. Below I describe them individually.  Scans are provided below that show condition.

Scans show in order;

Display Card 11" x 8.5"- fold-out stand removed from back,

20-Page (counting the cover) 9.5"x 8.5" Sales Promotion Brochure for In-Store Hosiery Section. It is in great condition with some slight cover soiling, light toning opposite from the ink and stocking sample page, slightly dinged corners and a small 3/8" stain on the back.

20 total - 6" x 4" Display Cards of Individual Stocking Styles;
Empress - good, dinged corner of stand,
Venise - tiny stain,
Stadium - good,
Honey Comb - good,
St. Andrews - good,
Tailleur - bumped edge,
L'Opera - no stand,
Aqua Caliente - dinged corner,
St. Tropez - worn corners, small surface damage below "St.",
Herringbone - worn corners,
Empire State Clox - good, corner loss on stand,
Contessa - good, worn corner,
Needle Point - good, dinged corner of stand,
Del Monte - good,
Diagonal - good,
Patrician - good,
Waffle Mesh - good, slight stain, stain on back,
Silver Fox - good,
Rue de la Paix - considerable stains on face,
Silken Veil - stains on the face.



Items are packaged securely and well protected in a custom-made cardboard box, not an envelope.
