1931 PHILCO Model 90 Cathedral

This Cathedral is a nine tube Broadcast that has all of its original capacitors, electrolytics, & resistors.  We have had this 90 for some time now and the only thing that has been replaced is a couple of tubes.  It fires up nicely but is starting to get a noticable hum.  The stations are very faint, but when the 24 (R.F.) tube is touched, the reception is great.  She is due for a recap & alignment.

The Chassis is in remarkable condition, with very little signs of wear.  Cloth looks to be original, as are the knobs.  Dial has all of its markings with no wear.  Wood and veneer are very tight  Tags are 100%.  Has all the original feet.  Cord is original (cloth), & in excellent condition.  Cabinet size : 17-1/2" long x 18-1/2" tall x 12"deep.

  Very nice collectors piece that needs a new home.
