    This Rookwood planter came from a great estate auction held in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Despite the horrid glare of my photos the condition is wonderful. There are no chips or cracks that I can detect, just is in dire need of a soft cleaning. Was used as a planter and there are still trace remnants of soil. Great kicky Deco shape with the stepped form. Fantastic colour tones with the gloss black and teal to seafoam green. Has a great fun look. Lines are clean and sleek. Cheerful, bright, and certainly in keeping with the era. Marked on the bottom with the Rookwood flame and mold number. Think this would make a striking display for any garden enthusiast or collector of Rookwood.
