Vintage softcover children's book "The Lucky Boy Gluck or The King of the Golden River" by John Ruskin with lovely black and white illustrations by G.A. Davis. Published by McLoughlin Bros.  Only date is copyright of 1932.  There is a penciled inscription on the inner cover, "To Hazel Dec. 25th, 1935 from Daddy" which I think adds to the charm of this book.  43 pages, staple bound.  Yellowing of pages throughout and some spotting.  The cover is fully intact but has rubbing to spine edge, a closed tear about three inches down the cover spine edge that continues through a few pages and shelfwear to cover.  Unusual to find a softcover children's book of such age in such nice condition.
