The above text is added by eBay to all listings in this category. The people who run eBay, like many of the people who view this listing, are clueless about automobile repair and restoration.
Store format auction: Some people don't seem to understand store auctions. This is not a traditional auction; it's a classified ad with an asking price one can either accept or offer against. There is no bidding. Some prices have room to move; some don't, all you can do is try your luck. I set them to approval back when anyone could do that on eBay, and you must email before trying to make an offer or buy the vehicle. I did this to keep the Nigeria scammers and other clowns from being able to end the auction early and cost me money, because I have to hop through more hoops than a circus trained dog act to get the fees back from eBay.
I'll also add that the listing is set up to completely ignore rediculous less than scrap joke offers, so you're only wasting your time, not mine - I never see them. I just figured I'd mention it for the three guys too stupid to figure that out after the first idiot tried that.
Rat rod, Hot rod or restore: 1934 Ford cabriolet. They built about 15,000 of these; this one is rough, but could be saved, especially with all the repro and hot rod parts available for these early Fords. This car has a good solid original frame, no suspension, it sat upside down in a dump and as such one windshield post rotted away. It appears the door was missing at that time along with hood, grille, engine and trans. Fenders may have some patch panels in them to repair other fenders with; floors are surprisingly mostly still in this. Sitting upside down saved them, the body subrails, and the seat supports. Some of the top bows and seat springs remain. What's here is pretty solid, it stayed in one piece to turn it over and haul it home. This one is in better shape than one my friend sold about 5 years ago for $5500 (that car sat on it's side abandoned for some 50 years), so it's not going to be given away, regardless of what the guys on the rat-rod boards or the eBay armchair jockeys think it's worth. My friend reports that a door alone for one of these was available at spring Carlisle for $2200.
Obviously repairing or using parts from this car requires skills in welding and fabrication; perhaps the best bet would be to find one that sat on the right side and combine the two bodies up the middle. There is no shortage of reproduction and replacement parts for 33-34 Fords. But I find a lot of eBay armchair jockeys with no skills to save their life can't even master the concept they teach 5-year olds - if you can't say something nice, keep it to yourself - getting boring folks, it's the same thing over and over and doesn't mean any more now than the first time. If you don't like this car, don't make an offer... I'll live.
Terms: 10% or $500, whichever is greater, deposit up front, not refundable. Sold As-Is, this is an old car and has rust issues, buyers are welcome and invited to inspect cars in person prior to bidding in case there are problems which I am not aware of. 30 days storage is included with the car, more time can be arranged in advance on cars that are paid in full at $50/month. Time is flexible depending on weather concerns. Unresponsive or uncooperative buyers may be assessed $10 per day storage if necessary, but we try not to let things get to that point.
How to pay: Check, cash in person, money order(s).
NOTE: Cashiers checks only accepted for the exact amount of the transaction. They must be able to be verified by the issuing bank before being accepted.

eBay forces me to include this redundant and confusing statement in this listing - their words, not mine: “This vehicle is being sold for parts only and is not operational or street legal. Therefore, upon purchase, it will need to be either towed or trailered. eBay encourages its members to learn about their state laws governing vehicle sales prior to the sale or purchase of a vehicle.”
