ORIGINAL GLASS LANTERN SLIDE ( File No. 9210 ) -  ANIMALS - HORSES, MT. SHASTA, CALIF.

Original glass lantern slide of HORSES GRAZING near MT. SHASTA, CALIFORNIA.  Photographed on 15 March 1933.    These listings are from a collection of a series of ORIGINAL hand colored glass lantern slides by Los Angeles Minerologist, Photo/Naturalist and Instructor W. Scott Lewis that were purchased in an estate sale several years ago.  Images are mostly in the western United States and are oriented with a scientific theme in Biology, Forestry, Geology, Meteorology, Weather, Rocks and Minerals, Insects and Small Mammals, Astronomy and other earth sciences.  The glass lantern slides were used in his many lectures and are dated between 1915 and the late 1930s.

Similar items will be shipped together for maximum savings on shipping.  These will be packaged carefully and mailed in an appropriate container with sufficient packing for protection from breakage, however, I have no control over how package is handled by the carriers, so postal insurance is at the buyer's option and risk. Please be assured I pack as well as possible.  I ship via Priority Mail in padded boxes with additional wrappings.   Multiple items may be combined for savings on shipping, however, weight and location are factors to be computed at the end of the sale.  Please wait for an invoice.  I usually send invoices within 8 hours of end of auction.
