The Horseback Camps

1934 catalog for the Teela-Wooket horseback camps for girls in Roxbury, Vermont, 8.25" x 11" softcover (card covers, string binding), 40 pages, illustrated with many photos including a foldout photo of the lake. Mailing envelope included. Also laid in is a 1935 letter informing the recipient that she would be bugling instead of working the dining hall that summer. Horse riding, swimming, golf, tennis, and other summer activities for girls under 19.

The front cover has lots of little splash stains; contents are clean and the binding is secure. The original application for membership is partly filled in. The envelope is darkened and has assorted tears and creases.

Shipping Options:  All packages are shipped via the United States Postal Service. When feasible, I offer a choice of priority or economy (which usually is media rate or first class). Magazines and other bound printed material containing advertising cannot be shipped media rate and must be shipped priority or parcel post. Please see my FAQ for details.
Shipping Fees:  The buyer pays actual shipping costs; I do not charge fees for packing materials or handling unless otherwise noted in the description. I request insurance on all items with a high bid of $50 or more. Insurance on all other items is available on request. All other USPS services, including delivery confirmation and certificates of mailing, are optional.
Closing Auctions Early:   I will not close an auction early to facilitate a private sale (this includes adding a Buy It Now option).
