    This auction is for a 1936 Whistler's Van by Idwal Jones. Presumed First Edition with Viking Press DJ, green coloured top edges, First Printing information within as shown. Hard cover with very rare dustjacket, copyright 1936 by Idwal Jones, published/printed 1936 by the Viking Press, New York, it has 235 pages and measures approx. 5 7/8" by 8 3/8".
    An overall very good to excellent text block and covers, dustjacket has edge/handling wear/soiling as shown. No writings, inscriptions, etc. within, the text block has extremely few light handling marks, few indications of ever being read. Pages nice, bright, tight and crisp, hinges and spine solid with no apparent flaws, decorated endsheets, deckled edges, green coloured top edges. Small amount of browning near top edges of endsheets as shown in the pictures. Volume is slightly shelf-cocked.
    A highly desired copy with near mint text block and hardcovers and seldom seen dustjacket, it will certainly make an exceptional Gift or a superb addition to your Library or Collection!!
