1936  third printing of THE OLD ASHBURN PLACE, by Margaret Flint;   a novel of rural Maine life. Margaret Flint was born at Orono, Maine. She spent much of her life in the former Pequawket Inn in West Baldwin, which she renovated, in an area which had been land-granted to her father's family after the French and Indian War. The Old Ashburn Place was Flint’s first book, and  earned her a national prize for best novel of the year in 1937.
