1937 King George VI Queen & Elizabeth Coronation Medal

An interesting cornation medal I'm just learning about. I've had it a few years and never researched it until now.

This medal weighs 78.5 grains, and though a little worn on the obverse, the scan makes this look bad. It is toning, and not major damage.

It's a 1937 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth coronation medal. It is hallmarked and I found this is Turner and Simpson, London 1936. They're hallmark changed or they opened a second facility in Birmingham in 1940. I combine shipping on all winnings, and send out my items securely packaged, and when need be, insured. One expensive items, I send fully insured throught the postal service, but on less expensive coins, I just send out with delivery confirmation. To my friends overseas, I apologize for a seemingly high shipping cost on high end items, but because 4 items were never delivered in a past auction, I must send items signed for. I understand that the postal service being what it is, and how much mail they handle, things do get lost, but with signature confirmation, I lose any doubt that Johnny Lostanotherone from Timbuktu really didn't receive the coin and I just send all the money back.
