FURTHER DOWN, THE LEGEND INDICATES THAT THIS WAS "ISSUED IN HONOR OF THE HEROES OF THE NAVAL ENGAGEMENTS AT NEW ORLEANS & MOBILE HARBOR DURING THE CIVIL WAR". THE PICTURE IN THE LOWER CENTER IS THAT OF DAVID D. PORTER. THIS COVER IS SCOTT #792. THE 2008 ISSUE OF THE SCOTT CATALOGUE ASSIGNS A VALUE OF $8.00 TO THIS COVER.
