Step back nearly three quarters of a century ago as you turn each of the 64 pages in this July 1939 issue of The American Rifleman magazine! It is filled with superb articles, outstanding pictures and wonderful period ads! Just a few of the items that caught my my are: New York City Police Pistol Team pictured in an ad for Peter's Ammunition, nice cover picture of the 1,000 yard firing line of the Burbank Rifle and Pistol Club in California, outstanding article by Elmer Keith entitled Speaking of Bullets, fine article with pictures called M.-L. Flintlock Rifles, good NRA article called Help the Juniors, interesting article entitled .270 Magnum On Game, good article with pictures on Tick Fever, great two page Remington Rifle News article and ad, fascinating article called How Guns Are Made, great two page Winchester  ad, L.L. Bean ad, large Smith & Wesson ad, Stevens 416 Target Rifle ad (this thing sold for $27.95!), Western Ammunition ad and sooooooooooooooo much more! Light edge wear and bent corners is all to report and that is for accuracy only as you will not be disappointed in this 71 year old magazine's condition!
