Do you part out your items? NO, we DO NOT part out our items. Requests for selling specific parts off our items will not be responded to.
Do you have clear titles? We hold a clear title to this item. Wisconsin does not require titles or registration for trailers less than 3000 lbs or boats less than 16 feet long. Please check your state/local officials for registration/licensing requirements prior to bidding.
Do you offer buy it now or 2nd chance Offers? Rawhide does not offer any Buy It Now pricing. We delete requests asking us to do so. Rawhide does not engage in any 2nd Chance Offers without prior notification and communication with you. If you receive a 2nd Chance Offer email for one of our items, it should be considered suspicious and not be opened or responded to unless you have had direct contact with Rawhide on the specific item. What type of payments do you accept? We accept PayPal or Cash in Person only. No other forms of payment are accepted at this time.
Do you disclose your reserve pricing? Our reserves are typically set by using a wholesale pricing guide so you can have confidence in bidding knowing the reserve price should be met and not set too high. We do not disclose our reserve price during a live auction and will re-list the item if it doesn’t sell. Do not wait for the end of auction to deal, we do not engage in those types of sales.
Do I have to pay sales tax? We are required by the state of Wisconsin to collect the state (5%) and county sale tax (.5%) for most items sold. For boats, the tax you pay here may become a credit in your State (check your local regulations). In Wisconsin a bill of sale shows you paid the tax. Submit the Bill of Sale when you register your item so you don’t pay tax twice. If the item is a Motor Vehicle (car, truck, motor home, or motorcycle) WI tax is due only if registered in the State of WI. You must submit the tax in your own state of registration if not registering in WI. If you are exempt from paying tax, you must provide us with a copy of your business license and tax exempt status or number - NO EXCEPTIONS. The item will be sold to the business that matches the supporting documents.

1. Inspection:
a. Before the purchase: It is the sole responsibility of the buyer and their judgment to have thoroughly inspected the item and to have satisfied themselves as to the condition, value, and to determination of their purchasing offer (bid).
b. After the purchase: The buyer will be given the opportunity to inspect this item to make sure the item is as described.
2. Payment / Communication:
a. Upon winning the item the buyer will communicate payment and pick timeframe within 24 hours. Please call 1-800-729-4433 to arrange a time. (see FAQ on normal business hours)
b. Provide the stated deposit within 48 hours, if applicable through PayPal or cash in person.
c. Pay for item in full within 72 hours through PayPal or cash in person.
d. If the buyer does not contact us, submit the initial deposit payment, or if final balance payment is not made within the specified terms, Seller reserves the right to cancel the sale and/or contact the next highest bidder or other bidder to complete the sale, and/or re-list the item without further recourse owed to the first bidder in default of these terms.
3. Pick Up or Delivery of Item:
a. It is your responsibility to:
i. Arrive within business hours preferable before 3:00 p.m.
ii. Provide your own transportation (we can quote within 350 mile radius only)
iii. Check the safety of the item
iv. Secure your item with your own tie straps
v. Hook up item to your transporting vehicle
vi. Have proper ball, hitch, and towing accessories
vii. Legally transport your item (i.e. make sure lights work)
viii. Have tools, supplies and parts to work on item (No inside facilities available to work on your item)
