1939 EMERSON MODEL CV295 RADIO
In the late 30's, Emerson was having some of their radio cabinets manufactured bt the Ingraham clock company. This is one of those. There was usually sticker under the cabinet that identified these radios. The next model up from this radio was the so called "Stradivarius" radio which had a top shaped to look like a violin, including the "F" holes.
You can see scratches on the radio cabinet, but in my radio restoration experience (since 1978) I know that this radio can be made to look really good with the right color stain to blend the blemishes. I hope whoever buys it does not refinish it. It's good enough to preserve.
I have not tested it and will not plug it in. Many of the original components are still there and lets assume it does not work. Don't forget that this is an AC-CD radio so when it's plugged in, the chassis can be hot (electrically)

We always leave appreciative Positive Feedback for all responsible auction winners! I package and ship with care. During the 80's and early 90's, I sold antique radios by mail and shipped thousands of them and they all made it safely. (This was before eBay). Check my feedback rating.
