The scanned images depict this coin fairly well, but can't due justice to the overall appearance of this 6 Pence coin from Great Britain, issued in 1939.  Popular World War II period SILVER coin with adequate very fine detail with even wear. Solid bright appearance for the VF grade. Only color is a hint of gold at very rim edge that highlights nicely. Marks are fairly minimal and eye appeal solid. Obverse depicts George VI, head facing to left. Reverse crowned monogram, value and date. Terrific bit of British World War II period history in SILVER for any collection. This item was part of my husband's collection. He is terminally ill with cancer and wants me to sell all of his private collection, coins and currency. I have three minor children to raise and so I comply.
