Condition - The book is clean and complete. The cover binding is square and both cover and pages are tightly bound. This is, however, a former Cleveland Public Schools Library book that was either specially bound for the library when published or professionally rebound by the library. The burgundy cloth cover is of a heavy durable cloth with gold print on the spine edge. At the lower portion of the spine edge where normally one would find the publishers name printed, there is an gold print library catalog number & below this the gold print states Cleveland Public Schools. There are a few minor scuffs on the cover cloth and the corners are mildly bumped but there is no frayed nor worn through cover cloth. Other library markings include an ink stamped library catalog number on the title page and a title page ink stamp which states East Technical High School Library. Inside the back cover is paper residue left when a glued on library card envelope was removed and on the adjacent back end page there are remains of paper from a removed paper due date reminder. Other text page wear consists of a few marginal edge page tears and three or four pages with tears extending from the bottom page margin upward two-three inches near the inseam binding from apparently flipping pages carelessly. There are no missing, loose, creased or pencil/pen marked pages of the text and other than the fact that the book is a former rebound library book, the cover ands text pages are in overall very good condition.
