The Worlds Fair 1940 - This short film was part of a series of films sold as souvenirs at the fair. This one showcases the gardens in the parks, courts and public areas of the grounds, as well as a tour of the Amusement Area and the Industrial Exhibits. Color, 4:44, no soundtrack.
To New Horizons - This is the film shown at the legendary General Motors Futurama exhibit. It predicts, sometimes accurately and sometimes not, how Americans will live in that distant world of 1960. Color, 23:00, sound.
Worlds Fair 1939 - This amateur film, shot using the then-new Kodachrome consumer color film records the people, exhibits and atmosphere surrounding the fair. (This is different footage from the Medicus films featured on our other Worlds Fair DVD's.) Color, 28:13, no soundtrack.
World Of Tomorrow - Another amateur film showing the fair from the point of view of a visitor. great footage of the Trylon and Perisphere, as well as many of the well known Industrial buildings. B & W, 27:20, no soundtrack.
A Royal Welcome - Another short souvenir film commemorating the royal visit to the fair by the King and Queen of England. Color, 7:37, no soundtrack.
