The scanned images depict this coin fairly well, but can't due justice to the overall appearance of this 5 Aurar coin from Iceland, issued in 1940.  Unique uncirculated bronze coin with pretty deep brown color very even in nature. Sharp remaining features, and will be a welcome addition to any World coin collection. Minimal marks and just normal honest light trace of wear. Obverse carries coat of arms. Reverse value, and origin as ISLAND. Terrific bit of WWII Period Icelandic history for any collection.. This item was part of my husband's collection. He is terminally ill with cancer and wants me to sell all of his private collection, coins and currency. I have three minor children to raise and so I comply.
