A lovely teacup and saucer set by Burleigh Ware (Burgess & Leigh) from the 1940s.  In the Windsor pattern, the cup is 2 3/4" (7.5cm) wide by 2 1/4 (6cm) high whilst the saucer is 5" (13cm) wide.  Both are fully backstamped in green Burleigh Ware, Burgess & Leigh Ltd, estd. 1851, Burslem England -WINDSOR, and have the beehive logo.  There is minor age roughness on the rim and handle of the cup, and rim of the saucer otherwise no chips, cracks or restoration.
