Fresh from a local Estate here is a FANTASTIC vintage CRACKER JAR from the popular LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD Line of kitchen ware .. this is an ORIGINAL item from the 1940s-1950s era - designed by Louise Bauer, design patent assigned to Hull Pottery but probably made by Regal China .. a HARDER TO FIND Piece than the much larger and more common Cookie Jar .. an unusual variation is that the 'cookies' in her basket are accented in Blue Glaze and not the typical brown glaze .. EXCELLENT condition with only the slightest wear to gold trim and a small spot of flaked red glaze color on back of cape bow (see photo) - other bright white spots in photos are only glare or reflections - no pottery chips, cracks or repairs to base or lid .. measures about 8 1/4" high x 7" wide x 6 1/2" deep .. unmarked but Guaranteed old and original Hull/Regal - this is NOT a new or reproduction item .. offered with NO RESERVE!
