1941 ELLERY QUEEN AND THE MURDER RING. Starring Ralph Bellamy and Margaret Lindsay with Leon Ames and George Zucco. This 70 minute romp was Bellamy's final turn as Queen. An elderly philanthropist asks Ellery to look into weird goings-on at her private hospital. She winds up strangled on an operating table. The medical director (played by the always creepy George Zucco) keeps disappearing. Other suspects pop in and out. Will Ellery get over his laryngitis in time to tell us whodunit? This DVD is a legal copy of a commercial VHS in my personal collection. This very old public domain movie is in original form, not digitally restored. The DVD has the title of the movie written on it with a permanent marker. It is packaged in a paper sleeve with a brief note about the movie typed on the back. I copy, label, test, package and mail each DVD personally. To keep the price so low, I cannot afford to give a combined order shipping discount. PayPal payment only.
