A very nice 1941 Fiesta San Jacinto Medal. Medal is about 1 3/4" in diameter. This is my 2nd. and last one. I sold the first one last year. These are so rare you may never see another one. The medal still has the Director Fiesta San Jacinto Assn. ribbon attached. This one is in exceptional condition. It is signed Simmons SA. As you know San Antonio celebrates the final victory, and its retribution for the fall of the Alamo, in Fiesta San Jacinto, held each year throughout the week that includes April, 21. Then there is a pilgrimage to the Alamo which is a tribute to the men who lost their lives in defense of the Alamo against a dictators army in 1836. If you collect Fiesta medals, Daughters of the Republic, or Texana this would be a great addition. Check my other Fiesta items for sale. Please email questions before the last day. Thanks!!
