1941 Ford 9N Tractor Great Rubber RunsReady For Restore

Up for auction is a 1941 Ford 9N 2wd Tractor with working 3pt hitch and PTO.  This is a fairly nice little tractor.  The sheet metal is in pretty good shape for being unrestored.  The grill and the small tool box need the most work.  The rubber is in excellent shape.  The rear tires are almost new and the front tires still have about 50% life left in them.  The tractor ran when it was parked, but has been sitting since the summer of 2006.  We towed the tractor from the back of our lot to the shop and everything seems to be great.  No noise coming from the differential and the steering works extremely well.   The motor still turns over easily.  I am working on getting it running as we speak and will post my results as soon as i get them.  This tractor is still running on the 6 volt system.  Everything seems to be there except the original ignition switch which i am replacing.  This would make an easy restoration for someone eager to try it out. UPDATE 1,

I got the tractor started and it seems to run quite well.  I will be checking out other functions on the tractor to make sure its 100%.  I am going to shoot a short video of the tractor as well.  Let me know if you would like to see it.

UPDATE 2,

Tractor is completely functional.  All three forward gears work excellent with no noise as well as reverse.  The clutch seems to be very solid still.  Just a very good tractor all around.  So far no leaks and no smoke except for start up.  I shot the short movie and I will email it to any one interested.  Thanks Again For looking.
