22" A.E.F. AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC FLOATING WATER LIGHT WITH ALUMINUM BRACKET. THE 2.5" DIAMETER LIGHT CASE IS MADE OF A COMPOSIT MATERIAL. IT HAS A BRASS 3/4" BAND THAT SAYS "AUTOMATIC ELECTRIC FLOATING WATER LIGHT APPROVED 1943-MERCHANT MARINE INSPECTION U.S. COAST GUARD MFD. BY A.E.F. WATER LIGHT CORP. NEW YORK, N.Y."

INCLUDED ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATION. THE LIGHT RUNS ON 4-D CELL BATTERIES (NOT INCLUDED). THE PAINT IS SCRATCHED ON THE CASE , THOUGH THEY ARE NOT DEEP GOUGES. THE LENS HAS YELLOWED WITH AGE. THE BULB IS INTACT WITH THE BRONZE LOCKING SPRING. I DO NOT KNOW IF THE BULB IS STILL GOOD. IT LOOKS TO BE A REGULAR SCREW IN FLASHLIGHT BULB. AS THE DIRECTIONS SAY 'BULB AND BATTERIES CAN BE OBTAINED IN ANY PORT".

THE WATER LIGHT WILL GIVE A CONTINUOUS SOURCE OF LIGHT FOR A PERIOD UP TO TWENTY-TWO HOURS.
