1943 Hand Tinted Photo Photograph Prints San Francisco

Description

Vintage photograph collectors, San Francisco history buffs and Southern Pacific Line railroad collectors!!! We are offering a unique and fantastic collection of hand tinted photographic prints of 1943 San Francisco.

We are not exactly sure who produced these packets but it appears that they may have been offered by Southern Pacific Lines (as noted in our inside packet photo) a historic railroad line that served California and San Francisco until it merged with Union Pacific in 1998.

The colored photos were printed on quality linen paper, are in very good condition and are very suitable for framing. These vintage images are outstanding. The hand tinting always lends a nice nostalgic value to old photographs. We have included nine photos to illustrate the collection's unique image qualities and historical value.
