This auction is for an early war edition of the NANCY DREW Mystery THE BUNGALOW MYSTERY by Carolyn Keene. This is #3 in the series and includes the original dust jacket. According to David Farah's guide I believe this is a 32nd printing, 1945A-32. The front flap lists to #21, The Secret in the Old Attic, and the back flap lists to the DANA GIRLS #12 The Portrait in the Sand. The back of the dust jacket list to the JUDY BOLTON #15, The Mark on the Mirror. The endpapers are the orange silhouettes, cover is dark blue with orange printing. Cover stock is dots arranged in irregular rows.

Condition is VERY GOOD on the book itself. The spine is tight and square, no loose pages, and no tears. The book corners are slightly worn and bumped and there is slight wear on the spine too. This is a war edition so the inside pages are slightly browned but not brittle. There are no odors either, and this comes from a smoke free environment.

The dust jacket is also in GOOD to VERY GOOD condition. The front cover has some minor chipping on the top and bottom of the cover by the spine. There are also a few tiny tears with fold overs and a bit of wear on the dust jacket corners as well. I will put the cover in a protective mylar clear library sleeve before shipping so it will not deteriorate any further. Despite it's missing pieces and folding it still displays nicely and is original to the book.
