THIS LOVELY LEGENDARY PEN FROM EVERSHARP AND HAS QUITE A FEW INTERESTING FEATURES THE SKYLINE PENS WERE DESIGNED BY INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER , HENRY DREYFUSS ,WHO HAD NOT ONLY DONE A LOT OF WORK AT EVERSHARP BUT ALSO HAD VARIOUS PUBLIC DESIGN PROJECTS TO HIS CREDIT INCLUDING THE FAMOUS NEW YORK CENTRAL LUXURY PASSENGER TRAIN'S HUDSON LOCOMOTIVE'S...ONE LOOK AT THIS TRAIN AND YOU WILL SEE THE TOUCH OF THE SAME DESIGNERS WORK ON THE ''SKYLINER'' PENS OF EVERSHARP...WHICH CAME IN TIME ( BY THE COMPANY ITSELF) TO BE CALLED THE ''SKYLINE'' THE SKYLINE WAS PRODUCED FROM 1941-1948 IS VARIOUS STYLES. Three pen sizes were made, Demi or Lady, Standard, and Executive. THIS IS THE STANDARD FULL SIZE PEN. THE PEN IN WONDERFUL CONDITION, FULLY WORKING AND EVEN HAS THE ORIGINAL ( WORKING ) EVERSHARP TAPERED INK SAC! THESE PENS WERE LEGENDARY FOR THE WET LINES AND SHEER RELIABILITY. THE INK FEEDS ARE DEEP CUT WITH SEVERAL CHANNELS THAT ENSURE NON STOP INK DELIVERY TO THE POINT. SOLID 14K GOLD NIB! No BRASSING , NO DINGS, NO SCRATCHES , CRISP IMPRINTS, NO INITIALS!
