This is a marvelous vintage Order of the Eastern Star bible in the original box with accessories from 1947. The bible is about 5 1/2" X 3 1/2" and is in near mint condition showing no sign of wear and the original box is also in excellent condition with very little wear. The bible has gold littering and edges and 5 marker ribbons. There is also a beautiful little crocheted Eastern Star book mark. Also included is a By-laws and roster of members of Rose Croix Chapter of the OES in South Bend Indiana. The booklet is from 1947 and that is why I dated the bible from the same year. There is also an amendment to the by-laws from 1952. This wonderful bible would make a terrific addition to any collection.
