Once the property of Midshipman W.T. Wade, class of 1949, at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at King's Point, New York, this large three-ring binder contains lecture notes, hand-outs, classroom notes, completed and graded tests, and class schedules for the school year of 1948. As shown, his rigorous schedule consisted of the following studies: history, trade, chemistry, Spanish, physics, and naval science. Included among the hundreds of pages of material is a restricted section relating to convoy formations and combatant ships and aircraft tactics. As a more personal touch, Wade's stencil for marking his personal property is included. The binder measures 11" x 11 3/4" x 4" and weighs in at a hefty 4 1/2 pounds. Buyer pays $14.75 postage/handling (Priority Mail). Georgia residents add 6% sales tax.
