Preston Tucker was an entrepreneur who had a number of inventions to his name such as the "Tucker Turret" which was used in WWII bombers.  He then designed the Tucker automobile which was so far ahead of its time that the Big Three not only noticed but also sought to quash it by ruining Tucker himself.  They were successful and killed the car that was called "the First Completely New Car" in half a century. 

The Tucker was designed by Alex Tremulis, a former designer of Duesenbergs, Cords and Auburn cars and many of the design features of the Tucker became the standards for other cars in years to follow.  The rear engine compartment detail is correct and there is even a support rod for holding the rear engine motor cover open for display purposes so you can show off the boxer type engine.  The spacious front trunk is complete with luggage. 

Up front is the famous "Cyclops" center headlight and, on the rear deck lid, a decal of the Tucker family crest.  This Franklin Mint model is the original Blue version and has been discontinued for many years. 

This car is in MINT CONDITION and probably was never displayed. It comes with the Hang Tag and is packed in the Styrofoam Liner and Outer Box. Paperwork includes the Certificate of Authenticity and Schematic. Don't miss this terrific car. You won't be disappointed.
