This guitar serial #113xxx has been in the family a long time. It has been well played.This guitar seems original except for the tuners and bridge. Looks like tuners came off older martin, and while i dont think the bridge is original. it is the right size. The action is low and guitar is easy to play,1'11/16' width at nut and action is 3/16 at 12th fret. This is a Great sounding guitar but with a lot of play wear. It looks like it had a place on the bottom side wear their was a cord plugged in? This has been patched. Their looks to be a couple of well repaired cracks, dings, scrapes and old bruises all over this guitar but nothing abnormal for a almost 60 year old guitar. It has the Vintage D-18 sound and look! Also comes with a old case. Guitar is offered for sell locally here in S.Georgia and we reserve the right to end auction early.Only ships in the the USA and local pick up is fine. I have a large selection of vintage guitars and Fiddles that will be listed soon so check my other Auction Items!   No Reserve because it dont matter where it starts at..Only where it ends...Good Luck and God Bless!

 Q: is the action 3/32" ? which would seem low. 3/16" seems somewhat high. Could it be ready for a neck reset?
A: No it does not need a neck set. It plays really good. Im a bluegrass picker and one of my buddy's plays a Rice model santa cruz and the action is about the same as his.
