Up for auction we have this sweet 1950 Schwinn Straightbar Autocycle.  This baby is all original !!!  NO RE-POP GARBAGE on this bike!  This bike is similar to the Hornets, Wasps, and Panthers of the day.  Nice maroon and cream paint with awesome patina.  Just the right amount of knicks and lil' scratches here and there.  No overkill !    Paint is very strong and still shines!  Great straightbar tank with no dents and an original WORKING Delta horn unit.  Paint on the tank is great on the right (chainguard) side with the left side having some chips.  No dents!!!  Original decals are still VERY legible!  Fenders are straight with NO DINGS and just a few scratches.  The ends are NOT all chewed up like most you see of this vintage.  Working Delta Torpedo light on the front fender shines bright.  Nice chrome all around with some minor pitting but all still shines pretty good.  Almost NOS U.S.A. Schwinn Typhoon Cord 26 X 2.125 tires are awesome.  Still soft and have 98% of their tread!  The ORIGINAL Double Knurled Schwinn Tubular S-2 rims run true.  The front rim has some beat marks along one side that do not affect its balance.  The rear is nice with no dents or dings.  Nice razor stem and bars.  Deluxe chainguard jackets a skip tooth Schwinn Sweetheart sprocket.  Rear rack looks as though a "Fatty" sat on it at one time which caused the all too typical cracks on either side and crease but check the pics...still looks good!  Seat has a couple of typical bites out of it (maybe "Fatty" got hungry and thought it was a giant Bologna sandwich!).  Bottle-cap pedals are well ridden but still spin freely.  Overall, this is a KILLER Heavyweight Schwinn bicycle.  Perfect patina and great originality.  Ride this AMERICAN MADE bicycle with pride!!!  Perfect beach cruiser!  Have a good Spat on all the fools trying to perpetrate on their "Retro Wanna Be" Wal-Mart piece of KRAP Japanese Schwinns.  Look at the pics and don't let this one get away!!!   THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION SO HAVE FUN!  Check out my feedback and bid with confidence!  Thanks for looking.
