Not sure the exact year of this tractor.  I purchased this tractor/mower from a family that had fallen on hard times
and needed the money.  I knew it needed work done to it, but I just don't have any more time to spend on it and can't store it this winter.

Tractor:
S/N (located on bottom of trans. case): 9N-605(has the #3 in a circle under this s/n)
Engine: 9N58805, liquid-cooled, gas-powered, 6V system, 4 cyl.
Transmission: Manual, 2WD, Clutch in good shape
No power steering.
Brakes work but need some attention.

Starts and runs good but charging system not working--have to put on battery charger
 each time I start it, and I just don't have time to work on it anymore.

It smokes a little because of a leak on rear end that drips onto the exhaust. No other leaks.

Radiator recently repaired--no leaks.

Tires: Both front tires are new.  Back tires: one less than a year old; the other 50% tread
w/ cracks but holds air.

Body in fair shape w/ 3-pt hitch which works well. Working headlights.



Work done recently:
  • New spark plugs
  • New battery (2/09)
  • New starter
  • New light switch
  • New starter push button
  • New oil pressure gauge
  • 2 new front tires.
Woods Finish Mower:
S/N 10165, Model RM500, Model# R500-2
60" cut.
Brand new blades.
Power Take-Off has Slip Clutch.
Mows good.

 Q: O.K. What your saying in a roundabout way . Is the motor is trashed ,and smokes some. a 9N cant leak oil on the rear of the exhaust. How much oil is it using??? I may buy It.
A: Sorry I didn't word that quite right in the description; it's the rear end that's leaking rear end oil onto the exhaust--has nothing to do with the engine. The engine is in decent shape though it does have some... Continue reading
