A VINTAGE Italian Silver-plated Fish/Serving Oval Tray
by IBIS
1 of 2 - This larger Platter has been in my family since the 1950s
This Italian-made Serving Tray features a SIMPLE and Elegant Design
It comes in a wonderful Oval shape with some Raised Repousse/Relief work around the rim
It is Hallmarked:
"IBIS - SILVER-PLATED - A1000 - ITALY"
with a picture of a "Pelican (Ibis)" and a "Crown"
It is also hallmarked:
"METAL MASSIF - SUPER ARGENTE"
(Solid Metal - Super Silver-Plated)
The server was Professionally Re-Dipped in Silver as the original coating had faded away
It wasn't used much since it was Restored a few years ago ...
It is in Great Condition!
I do see some surface scratches ... We have not attempted to polish them
The tray measures 13 3/4 inches Wide x 20 inches Long
It Weighs: 3 lb 2 5/8 oz
Note: I am selling a smaller IBIS tray in another listing ...
(They complement each other well)
