 Reflector Table Lamp, France (or other European), c. early 1950s We picked this up in Europe and believe it to be French (along the lines Jacques Biny etc.) It's very unusual and without a doubt not something you will easily come across again. It is a petite little piece, perfect for a nice touch of accent light in any room. When illuminated, the light bounces up off the underside of the reflector giving a warm dramatic glow. The lamp is constructed completely of enameled metal (dark blue reflector with white underside, orange body with white interior and dark blue footed base). Finishes are all original. Inside the body is a European candelabra light bulb socket (a screw on adapter will provided so you may use a standard American candelabra base light bulb). No wattage is specified, but 40w or less will more then sufficient. Wall plug is an Early European style, so an adapter will be provided as well so it will work in a standard American wall outlet. measurements 12" tall by 5.5" diameter at its widest. condition In very good condition for its age and working. There are NO dents. Finish is overall good with some age wear here and there so do not expect a pristine new looking piece. The inside of of the orange body shows the most age (luckily also the area you do not see much of in normal use).
