This is a 1950's Slingerland snare drum shell!! It has a date of July 23rd, the year is not readable. It has the black and gold slingerland badge, which reads quality drums Chicago, IL USA. It has 8 lugs, excellent condition, missing 1 eyelet on a lug, spring is visible inside it. The drum is red sparkle wrap, original. Reinforcement rings are made of maple and inner shell is made of mahogany. It has original holes for snare lever, there are 3 small holes filled with wood putty. Two of the holes have small chips, otherwise in excellent condition. There is no warpage. Thank you for looking.
