Hi, I have a gorgeous 1951 Epiphone Zenith archtop for auction. This is a great sounding and playing instrument. 51' was the last year Epi's were made in NY before moving the co. to Philly. This guitar is all original except for the bridge which is a Martin electric archtop replacement. It has a wonderful round acoustic tone that works well for strumming and single notes, and sounds fantastic pluged into an amp. It has a few dings that you would expect from a guitar this age but overall is in very good condition. The finish on the front has (in my opinion) a beautiful cross checking and epiphone is hand inlaid in pearl script on the headstock. These old archtops are a great value. I see some go for less but the difference is that they are 'steam arched' (and some are laminated) tops. This Epiphone is a hand carved solid spruce top guitar. No cracks seperations or binding issues. It comes with the original case. This was my main guitar for quite a few years and performed great on the stage and in the studio. I'm not playing as much so I'm trying to cull my collection (to fund another expensive hobby) and it's not easy. This is a truely excellent vintage Epi. you wont be disappointed. thanks and good luck
