This hard board covered book measures 7" x 10" and contains 106 pages in a spiral bound format.

Contents include:  planning the layout, yards, terminals and junctions, the use of layout prototypes, layout plans and discussion, track, benchwork and switches, third rail, and selected layout plans!

This book is a great addition to your collection of hobby railroadiana books and a fine resource book on "how to's" when designing your layout.  The book also tells the differences and sizes of the most popular guages, O, OO, HO, TT.  Discusses grading, planning a line to furnish traffic, transition curves, grade limitations, loops, turntables..........and sooooooo much more!

The pages of this book are in excellent condition, the cover shows subtle signs of age and from being in storage.

  This item has been stored in a smoke and pet free facility for many years, but I don't always know the history behind some of these things prior to it's being in my family's possession. Please ask questions before you bid and I'll be happy to answer them to the best of my ability!
