This is a NOS grille guard for a 53 Chevrolet, part# 986803. As you can see in the picture, the guard comes in the original box. The chrome on the guard is good 50s vintage chrome, which was not the absolute best, but it would look great on a daily driver, unrestored original car, or a rat rod or street rod. For a show car it would need to be rechromed. Even though the guard isn't show quality, it would still look great on most cars. This would be a nice addition to your 1953 Chevrolet.

When applicable, the New Old Stock (NOS) parts that we offer for sale are original production, assembly line pieces. Being assembly line pieces, there are often factory flaws in the part. There is no such thing as a "flawless" NOS piece, so please keep that in mind when restoring your vehicle. Unless noted otherwise in the description above, the part pictured is exactly what would have been found on the car when it was new.

Payment must be received within 10 days of the end of auction. If there is going to be a delay for any reason, simply send me a note to let me know. I am more than willing to work with my customers as long as they work with me. However, I have little patience with endless promises and ignored emails. Payment can be made via PayPal online, and Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover is accepted over the phone. We also accept money orders and personal checks, but we do wait up to 10 days for personal checks to clear.
Unless otherwise noted, we ship our items via UPS in the Continental U.S. We are very familiar with their rules and regulations, so please look over their regulations, especially in regard to Oversize 1 and Oversize 2 packages, before questioning our shipping prices. We package our items with the safety of the item in mind, not to save a few dollars in shipping costs. For locations outside the Continental U.S., we usually ship by U.S. Mail unless otherwise requested.
Returns: Returns will only be accepted if there is obvious and legitimate damage that was overlooked in our description, or if the item was damaged in shipping. No returns will be accepted because of buyers remorse, or because of unrealistic expectations of the parts purchased. All returns are subject to the seller's discretion, and restocking fees will apply if we find the return was not warranted.
