Up for auction is a very rare and great conditioned rookie card of the Montreal Canadien HOFer Jean Beliveau. He is one of the winningest players in sports history(I believe about 10 or 11 Stanley Cup championships) spanning 3 decades, and two different dynasties, including the 5 straight Cup winners from 1955-60. Only Henri Richard and Jacques Lemaire have rivaled this feat(also ex-teammates of his). He left the game on top in 1971 with a Cup win over the heavily-favored Black Hawks, and became a spokesman for the team and the Molson Company(I believe). You can't write a script like that today(riding off into the sunset in the twilight of your career with the beautiful woman or cup). Anyway, the card is 1953-54 Parkhurst card #27 and near mint in condition. No toning at all to the card. No surface wear nor gum stains to either front or back of card. Very evenly centered 50/50 all around. Three of the corners have a slight hint of wear. Color is beautiful without fading. Just a simply spectacular card. See scan for details. Good luck.
