This auction is for a 1953 calendar salesman display book with different styles and models of advertising calendars available for 1953. The photos on the various calendars are stunning. Some are high gloss and textured while others are smooth. There are all different kinds of calendars included in different sizes and shapes – “classic” and “emblem”. All of the calendars are present; however, the extra pictures in each section are missing.
The front cover reads, “Americana Calendar Line 1953” Lee Foster Industries, 1100 E. 76th St. Chicago 19 Illinois.
Several of the sections have multiple calendars showing the different photos available. It’s really interesting to look at – especially because the pictures are so nice! They’re in excellent condition.
It is spiral bound with brown plastic and the last 2 pages of the book have the ordering instructions and prices. It’s just a fun thing to look at – especially if you were born in 1953! The pages are all in good shape with only one calendar loose. It has no odors or musty smell.
The book measures 16 inches by 11-1/4 inches. There are many calendars included – larger ones as well as desk top versions.

I am always happy to combine shipments when possible. If you win multiple auctions, I will combine items and send you a combined invoice through eBay once I package and weigh the items.
NOTE: Shipping and handling charges are based on average postal costs and supplies (styrofoam peanuts, boxes, tape, paper, labels, bubble wrap, etc.) I try to keep them as fair as possible and sometimes I end up paying more, sometimes less. It's not an exact science!
Please note that I make every attempt to describe all of the items I list accurately and honestly. Many of my items are vintage so they are usually found through auctions, estate sales, etc. Because it is difficult to buy items with seeing or touching them, I stand behind all of the items I list on ebay so if for any reason you are not satisfied, please let me know and I will work with you to find a suitable solution. I want this to be an enjoyable experience for you!
