This auction is for THE JOY OF COOKING cookbook written by Irma S. Rombauer & Marion Rombauer Becker with a copyright date of 1953. It has 1013 numbered pages and is a hard cover. The cover is in good condition with some shelf wear around the edges and a few scratch marks. The outside edge of the pages is a little stained, probably from cooking! There is a woman's name in ink on the inside cover page and the second and third page has pulled away from the spine and so has the 1012 & 1013 pages, but they are not loose, still attached to the other pages. The last few index pages have been folded in half. The rest of the book is sound and tight. The pages are in very good condition with no noticeable tears, stains or writing.
